this intro always got to me. reminds me how everyone will either forget about you or will purposely forget about you.

Ground breaking! On a trip down to Bristol in summer 84, we (me and Les: from Concrete Sox) met up with Gabba/Chaos/Mower (Chaos UK) and went to some place down St. Pauls for a scrumpy gathering (as was normal back then). On the way we passed a studio where Amebix were recording this and we got to hear some of this recording. Blew my face off when I heard what Amebix were about to release. Good times...

At one point you couldn't go on a New Age Traveller site without hearing this coming from at least one Bender. A few years later it was Culture Shocks 'Onwards and Upwards', and that tells you something. I haven't the foggiest idea WHAT it tells you, but it tells you something...

Man, thinking about how some people I thought were my friends clowned on me about this album, a long time ago. They were haters, and one of em in particular was fucking my girl behind my back. This album still kicks ass, and I'm glad I am reflecting on it now.. much happier and away from people like that
